Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Premium TV Remote (“the App”) handles information when you use its Wi‑Fi remote, voice, app-search and advertising features.

Information handled by the App

The App discovers compatible Android TV and Google TV devices on your local network. It may store a selected TV’s local IP address, display name, pairing certificate, preferences, profiles, favourites and recent searches on your device. Pairing credentials are protected using Android security facilities. This information is used to provide remote-control functionality and is not operated as a developer-hosted analytics database.

Voice input

Voice input uses the speech-recognition service available on your phone. Audio or transcripts may be processed by that service according to its provider’s privacy policy. The App receives recognized text and uses it to perform the requested TV action or search. You can type instead of using voice.

Advertising and consent

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and App Open advertisements. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, approximate location, interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, fraud prevention and measurement, subject to your region and consent choice. Google’s User Messaging Platform requests consent where required and provides a Privacy choices control when applicable.

Local network

Device discovery and remote commands travel between your phone and compatible TV on the local network. The App uses the Android TV Remote v2 protocol and does not use Bluetooth or ADB as its primary control mechanism.

Sharing

The developer does not sell personal information. Data can be processed by platform services needed for speech recognition, advertising, consent and app distribution. Their handling is governed by their own terms and policies.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences remain until you delete them, remove favourites/history, forget a paired TV, clear application data or uninstall the App. Advertising providers retain data according to their policies and your privacy choices.

Children

The App is a utility intended for general audiences and is not directed specifically to children. Publishers must configure the application’s Google Play and advertising audience settings accurately before release.

Security

Reasonable platform security controls are used, including encrypted TV pairing and protected credential storage. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can avoid voice input, remove saved items, forget pairing, clear App data, and use the Privacy choices entry when shown. Device-level advertising controls may also be available in Android settings.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when functionality or legal requirements change. Questions can be sent using the developer contact address displayed on the App’s Google Play listing.
